Your personal data may be held and processed in connection with Omega Funds’ services to you, transaction(s) that Omega Funds considers with you, for the general development of Omega Funds’ business and for administrative purposes relating to those purposes. Omega Funds may use the contact details that you provide to Omega Funds to inform you of relevant opportunities, developments and events, unless you decide to opt out of these communications.
We may create anonymous information records from personal data by excluding information (such as your name) that make the data personally identifiable to you.We reserve the right to use and disclose anonymous information to third parties in our discretion.
Disclosure to Third Parties
In certain cases your information may be passed to companies who process data on behalf of Omega Funds, Omega Funds’ advisers, financial intermediaries and credit reference agencies with which Omega Funds works. Where Omega Funds passes data to third parties Omega Funds seeks to ensure that appropriate confidentiality arrangements are in place. Omega Funds does not provide your details to third parties for any marketing or promotional purposes, except where you have given your consent.
Accuracy and Security
You are required to keep your personal data accurate and up to date. If you believe that any of the information that Omega Funds holds about you is incorrect please notify us. Omega Funds takes reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal data, but cannot guarantee the security of data you disclose online.
Your Rights; Opt Out
Omega Funds takes reasonable steps to retain data only for the duration of the purpose for which it was obtained. When requested to do so, Omega Funds will delete personal data from current operational systems where it is no longer required. Omega Funds may need to continue to hold some details about you after such a request or after your relationship with Omega Funds has ended, for example for legal and regulatory reasons. You have the right to receive information about the personal data (as defined in the UK Data Protection Act 1998) that Omega Funds maintains on you (a fee may be required). You should also note that, under data protection laws, in certain circumstances you are entitled to object to the processing of your personal data and have certain rights of access, rectification and/or removal of your personal data.
